ROB is a graduate of
Kennesaw State University where he received a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Music with a concentration in
classical guitar. His formal education has included
instruction from Mary Akerman at Kennesaw State
University and Dr. Mario Abril at the University of
Tennessee at Chattanooga. ROB has resided in the Atlanta
area since 2001.
Professionally, ROB has
experienced a wide array of environments and styles
throughout his musical career. In 2002, he joined the
faculty of the Atlanta Institute of Music where he
currently teaches courses on rock and classical guitar
styles. In addition to private and classroom
instruction, ROB is also a creative consultant and
studio musician for Davis Advertising. His work for the
Atlanta-based firm has included composing and recording
music for television commercials.
ROB has recently
ventured out as a freelance transcriber and is also hard
at work on his own original material and solo
performances.
