Bill Hart
Canadian-born and raised, Bill's early musical interest was blues. At thirteen years old he moved to Jacksonville, Florida where he jammed with professionals such as Alan Collins and the Van Zants. From there his intense interest in music lead him to pursue music studies at Jacksonville University with Gary Starling. Bill then attended the Guitar Institute of Technology in Los Angeles and graduated with honors. His acquaintance with Steve Freeman, then AIM's President, brought him to AIM where he is now the Guitar Department head. Bill's The Bill Hart Project has released two CDs “Watch The Sky” and “Think About It.” Bill has opened for  Lou Rawls, Yellowjackets, Acoustic Alchemy, Mike Stern and others, is featured on numerous projects, in multiple genres, is endorsed by Mesa Boogie (amps), Yamaha (guitars) and Dimarzio (pick ups), and has instructed about 1,800 Students (and counting …)
